What to Expect at the Christmas Party
The office xmas party is an popular event that companies either choose to keep simple; for example small businesses tend to retreat to a local pub after work for a pre-festive drink and maybe lunch, where as larger firms tend to hire out venues such as function rooms and hotels.
Everyone looks forward to letting there hair down at the christmas party, so make sure there is plenty of music, games and an excellent catering company to hand, on choosing to right venue getting an opinion from staff and clients is always a good idea.
Most people will remember a christmas party venue where the food was a negative, so make sure the caterers can cope with the size of your company. So by booking and hiring a Private Catering who can offer great food for you all to enjoy!
Once everyone has had a few drinks the christmas party usually comes alive. As well as a good DJ there is a great selection of party games to play which will have everyone involoved from old to young. My favourite games played in the past are:
Secret Santa: The best way to make this game a success is by planning it a weeks before the do, simply write down the name of each guest and place in box, each person must then pick out a name. Keeping the name anonymous from others, you will then be required to buy a suprise gift for that person, i usually spend upto a fiver.
This gift will then be given out at the party, a good chance to have a joke around, I once received a crate of beer¦result!
Name That Christmas Song: a popular game for decades now and really easy to play providing everyone has not had to much to drink, by forming teams of equal numbers the aim of the game is to play small bursts of the finest festive tunes making each group write down the artist and song title. With the most correct answers at the end is the winner.
