There are many people who go away on their summer vacation but have they thought about a winter holiday I wonder. Well, it would seem a lot of people do actually go on winter holidays each year but the real thing to look at is why these people go at this time of year and do they find it much better going on holiday to a destination such as Dubai in the winter rather than the summertime?

Rubbing It In
When it comes to summer vacations you may end up feeling a bit left out if you’ve elected to go on a winter break because your friends are going on holiday in the height of the summer but the fact is, when they get back, you are still looking forward to yours and you can really rub it in with them. Make sure you make sure everyone knows that while their holiday stories are fading quicker than their tans, you are heading for a warm climate in the middle of the cold, wet, windy winter and you are going to be having a great time while every-one else has to remember to wrap up warm.

The Weather
Lets face it, the chances are that the winter weather at home is going to be very bad indeed but when fly off to a tropical country, you can rest assured it should be great. It makes sense, why should you leave home in the summer when you can go in the winter when it is cold and bleak? It makes common sense to stay home in the summer and leave in the winter; examples of the many places you might like to think about include Thailand or Barbados. These destinations are popular all year round but in the winter they are a little less busy and a little cooler than in the summer so make sure you look into these locations and think again about taking your next break during high season.

of course the thing to remember when it comes to this is that you need to be having a good time when you go away so it does not matter what time you go as long as you do this!

if you have not been on holiday before in the winter then do it because it is a very different experience to the summer
